Teresa B......I ventured to Pure to fix a very botched dye job (from a few boxes of blonde Garnier and one too many Presidentes while on vacation), and was incredibly pleased with how my hair turned out! Located on Queens Blvd with a light blue awning, Pure gives off a calming and radiating aura. From the moment you enter and inhale the delicious candle scents and sit on a super comfy couch with a great selection of magazines, its a really nice salon experience. Nancie (my colorist) was awesome. Not anything near one of the many pretensious and i-know-best kind of attitudes that Ive experienced from other beauticians that dont listen to what you want. Nancie listened to what i said and took care of my hair perfectly. She blew it out with soft curls on the bottom, and honestly, my hair has never been so soft and silky. I got complements from everybody at work the next day. I think the price was very reasonable as well-$73 for the color, wash and blowout. Most places in the city are well over $100. Will definetley be back!
