Teresa askedD: I am new to machine embroidery. I have a Husqvarna Ruby Deluxe. For the past few months I have been stitching out my embroideries on broadcloth. Last week started embroidering on T-shirts. I bought my T-shirts at JoAnn Fabrics. I first tested the design I was using on broadcloth.( yesterday I stitched out the embroidery on the T-shirt which was red in colour). I sprayed temporary basting adhesive Stitch Point cut-a-way (Inspira)(good for high density designs) to the inside of the T-shirt and I hoped the t-shirt in the new metal frame from Husqvarna Viking. I floated Whisper web mesh(Inspira)(Medium density stitch). Okay the design stitched out with no puckers but with the thread colours white and yellow (Madeira) you can see the red t-shirt material underneath. Yellow isnt as bad but the white is more noticeable. But because they are clouds it isnt so bad that the T-shirt can`t be worn. But yet the tan colour (Metro ) is perfect. So my questions are: Should I have used different stabilizer If no, should I have used a topper if so what kind. I will be trying just to use Sulky and metro thread to see if that makes a difference. Thanks I appreciate all the info.
