Terri, thank you for such a warm and thoughtful post from Terri LaClaires letter: Hi Guys and Happy New Year. I havent been to this page in awhile. For some reason Friends with Fibro runs on my news feed and I get caught up in the prayer requests. And Joy in Chronic Illness on Pinterest as well. But even though 2014 was very challenging emotionally and finding out Lupus was the cause of increased pain, I want to say how thankful I am for these groups and pins. I have found that within our community of invisible diseases is a very strong group of followers of Jesus Christ. This is amazing! Even though we go through the valley and into the wilderness time and time again, we still hold fast to our Lord! The encouragement which is sooo scriptural really helps folks like me hang on. Sure depression and despair come but then I get a notification from Fibro and Faith and I am spurred on to not give up the fight. I want to encourage all of you to remember we have each other. I lay in bed at noon on a beautiful day here in SW Florida and I could have a pity party. Then I surf the Fibro groups and say to myself, so what? I can at least lift someone else up with my tapping finger. Yeah there will be horrible cramping but YOU, my Fibro buddies are worth it. So, blessing to all of you today and soft hugs to all!
