Terrible news today as we mourn the tragic loss of a well known and much loved FRNSW fire fighter in Cobar. NSW RFS and FRNSW work shoulder to shoulder and rely on each other in providing services to the community, particularly in rural and regional areas such as Cobar, making todays tragedy even more difficult for those with such close and personal relationships. Our Far West Team, particularly those assisting with the fire, are understandably devastated and hurting terribly. Support services are in place to assist members, family and colleagues as would be expected.
