Terrible shame that the Local Studies Section of the Co. Library is still closed and so no research can be done there now. Unfortunately the backlash from the historian community in the county has now started also. 3 Historians that I am aware of with a collection of files of research totalling 85 years of work by them, will not now be donated by these historians to the Local Studies Section of the Co. Library on their demise. I cannot say that I blame them.
