Terrific Tuesday Thank you for your continued prayers for the children at the Kids In Crisis Centre and for the team. We are so thankful that Lazare and Faith are feeling better. The team continues to do well. We are getting things accomplished and the more we do, the more we add to our list of things to do. Today Laird built shelves for the activity centre so that we can go in and sort and organize all of the toys and craft materials. Joe has been working on assembling more furniture and toys and William and Isaak have been fixing things like washing machines, vehicles, cribs etc. The women have been sorting, cleaning, moving furniture and sneaking in cuddles with kids and babies whenever they can. Today the new baby arrived. He is a beautiful little boy named Tombah. He was very hungry when he arrived so Marjory happily fed him a bottle. We figure he is about two weeks old. His mother died in childbirth and the family is not able to care for him. They think he will be at the centre for about two years and then his family will be able to look after him. Tomorrow we are expecting two more children who are in similar situations. Please pray for these children as they adjust to life at the centre. Please continue to pray for the workers at the centre. Children are not valued in this culture so nurturing children, playing with them and loving them is not something that comes naturally to the workers. Pray that they would become more attentive and caring with the children. Pray that we would continue to set good examples for them as we play and love the children.
