Terrorist attacks and political groups that try to derive political mileage out of such incidents is a common practice observed in most nations across the globe. The sympathisers of such fundamentalist groups under their political garb do try to create rather defile the political and social environment by brewing a distrust in the public minds towards state administration. Attack done on any governmental institution in any part of the world is most unfortunate and cannot be approved of however noble might be the aim of the groups responsible for such an attacks. Causing damage to government property in any form or loss of innocent human lives is an act most unforgivable. Blaming any foreign agency as is a usual practice is simply a run of the mill reaction that the common man however gullible he might be well understands. Pakistan a democracy that is still at a developing stage will continue to face such pitfalls by elements opposed to the success of democracy and a moderate social thought. These are the groups who in the name of religion bring in a bad name not just to the people who profess that religious faith but also to those who are at work to make the society liberal and moderate and make democracy take deep roots in the nations polity. Such fundamentalist groups that are active in FATA are the greatest enemies of the people of that region who need to be selectively weeded out. This is no doubt a task most challenging with major pitfalls and bottlenecks for the Government of Pakistan to execute nevertheless this is their test of ability which will be a decisive factor in making democracy a success in that nation. The Federal Cabinet will no doubt have to pull up their socks and work with a greater degree of sincerity but it is also for the people who are the citizens of Pakistan to support the government in their efforts stern measures are inevitable which will make the going tough but this is the price that needs to be paid for democracy to become a success in any nation.
