Terry Xu: Dear friends, Im making a film on the Singapore exiles living in Thailand who are not allowed to enter Singapore. Most if not all of them were due to be arrested under the Internal Security Act in 1963 before they fled the country and joining the Communist Party of Malaya. Whether it would be a short film or a full feature film will be based on the footage I can collect and funding as I am practically digging coins out from my pocket to self fund the production expenses such as transportation and accommodation. If you could, please help to spread the word that TOC is seeking subscribers to support its activities. theonlinecitizen/subscribe/ This film along with other subsequent films will only be available in TOCs screening and subsequently subscriber only content. As Im the producer, cameraman, editor and interviewer and etc all in one using my trusty DSLR camera (no allowance for equipment) to film the interviews and stuff, so dun expect much from it as its basically a pretty low budget film. (This is just a raw cut from the content so subtitles and headings are not fixed)
