Tessie Oswald loved ghost stories, urban legends, and scary movies - TopicsExpress

Tessie Oswald loved ghost stories, urban legends, and scary movies and stories even as a little girl. She was never scared of the dark and slept every night. Halloween was her favorite holiday, but she never went trick-or-treating. She always visited haunted houses or watched scary movie marathons. She also loved Friday the 13th. Her blond hair made Tessie look like an easy target to scare, but she was hard to scare and would squeal in delight. One day, when Tessie was fifteen years old, she went missing for quite some time. She left for a sleepover and never returned. They never found her and she was eventually forgotten about. Thirty years later, it was late at night on a Friday the 13th. At the department store, an older man was locking the safe as he put away the jewelry. He heard footsteps a few minutes later. Assuming it was a security guard or someone pulling a prank, he turned around. A loud scream was heard and the footsteps disappeared. The man had died of a heart attack even though he was in perfect health. However, two others had told strange experiences. A doctor working the night shift saw a young woman wearing a torn blouse and branches in her blood covered hair just standing behind him. A butcher closing her shop for the night saw the same young woman throw several of her knives against the wall. One of the knives nailed the butcher in her left arm, but she wasn’t seriously injured. After talking with each other, the doctor and the butcher realized that it was Tessie Oswald. They weren’t sure how she died, but her spirit continued to haunt them. No one slept at night and all businesses close after 9:00pm every night and all day on Halloween and no one left their homes on any Friday the 13th. That was the day Tessie went missing. That was the day she remained dormant for thirty years until she was ready to rise again.
