He told them to teach the truth of His word to His children. God said in Deuteronomy 4:9-10 we need to teach Gods word to our children. We need to ask God to help us live lives that follow Jesus. Deuteronomy 4:9-10 9 But be careful! Watch out and don’t forget the things you have seen. Don’t forget them as long as you live, but teach them to your children and grandchildren. 10 Remember the day you stood before the Lord your God at Mount Sinai. He said to me, “Bring the people together so I can tell them what I have to say. Then they will respect me as long as they live in the land, and they will teach these things to their children.” My mother showed and taught us the love of Christ! Romans 12:10 Love each other like brothers and sisters. Give each other more honor than you want for yourselves. Parents need to love and teach their children! Children need to honor, respect, and love their parents! Ephesians 6:1&4 1 Children, obey your parents as the Lord wants, because this is the right thing to do. 4 Fathers, do not make your children angry, but raise them with the training and teaching of the Lord. Lets live lives of love, honor, and sacrifice for Jesus!
