Testimony! Today is our 2 yr wedding anniversary. Weve been together for 13 years but married for 2. So in honor of our anniversary I thought it would be wonderful to share our wedding testimony. Okay so 2 years ago I came to know the Lord and gave my life to Jesus. Well during that process, He needed to dig inside my life and fix somethings. I was open to it, my husband was as well. We started going to this Christian church. They were in the middle of a family series; a biblical teaching of how a Godly family should be towards each other. Throughout the services, we both cried and held each other tighter. We were absorbing and grateful. Our relationship began anew. We were more considerate of each other and open for Jesus guidance. Well they announced one Sunday that there was going to be an annual church picnic and a baptism for those wanting to give their life to Jesus. My husband desperately wanted to be fully watered baptized in the name of Jesus so he quickly signed up. During that last month before the picnic, weird things were coming up about us not being married at the time. Either a Christian brother/sister would mention it, or wed come across some type of sign about it. We kept brushing it off because we knew we WANTED to be married but it just wasnt the right time financially. We had 3 children and we knew we were going to do it. But on our time. We didnt realize as new believers we were no longer on our time but Gods time. So it was a week before the church picnic and my husband was approached by the pastor concerning his baptism. He kindly offered to not only baptize the BOTH of us, but to marry us as well if we so choose. My husband and I were a little offset by this but then we looked at each other. We said wed think about it and let him know. We went home that night, had a talk and decided why not. We rushed that week and told everyone we could if they would like to be there for us. Well the next Sunday at the church picnic the pastor finished up the final teaching on the FAMILY series and he announced with joy, on that beautiful sunshining day, what better way to wrap up a family series than to marry a couple...and then he married us. Wed only been going to that church 1 month at the time. 1 month before that, we were still trying to live on our time. When you give your life to God, you are on HIS time. He wanted us to be married. Father in Heaven on this beautiful sunshiny morning, I thank You for bringing my husband and myself together in HOLY matrimony. I thank You for fixing us, continuing to fix us. I thank You for my best friend, my life & eternal partner, My beautiful husband. Lord, please continue to heal my behaviors, attitudes, and ways so that I can become the woman you intend for me to be as a wife, mother, and person. God I can NOT thank You enough for this marriage. You are the best thing that has EVER happened to me. I love YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! In Jesus mighty name, AMEN
