Testimony Tuesday!!! Some may say its bragging some even may say its conceited.But I call it MY LIVING TESTIMONY!! Let me start off by saying I have been through so much in my 33 years of living. To go through 11 years of school and only make it to the 6th grade and drop out. To losing my father who passed away in his sleep in 2004, to losing my son due to drowning in a swimming pool in 2005, to losing my best friend for over 15 years of knowing her killed in a car wreck in 2006, to losing my mother due to pneumonia and other issues at the age of 51 in 2008, to going through a 10 year marriage and ended it with a divorce in 2009. And I can continue to go on and on with the rest of the years after that. But these things here really hurt me to my soul, there were times I thought I couldnt make it through the next day. But you see when I gave my life over to Christ at the age of 19. The only thing kept me together year after year was my FAITH. Even through the pain,hurt and tears God never left my side. My number one prayer was for wisdom and understanding. I went on a 40 day fast the end of last year. And God told me in my spirit 2014 he was going to give me double for my trouble. If I tell you I have been more than blessed this year. My son passed away at 5 years old nothing can take his place but God has blessed me with a 5 year old daughter who look like him act like him talk like him. Very outstanding and smart like him. I didnt think I had the knowledge or understanding to do school work and get my high school diploma. But I did it!! To get accepted in college, and pass for the semester, I did it!! God has blessed me with a wonderful husband who love the Lord.I couldnt see that at first. When you so used to having bad men in your life sometime ladies we dont know a good one when we get one. And that was me for a minute. I just didnt understand why this man was treating me the way he was. Praying with me,uplifting me when I was down. Sending me roses every week almost for 3 years. 3 years and I can honestly say we havent had an argument or fight since we been together. The strongest connection we have is the love and desire we have to please God. And once we became one under God. We been married for 3 weeks now and we continue to see the blessing after blessing happening. Ever since Ive been a hairstylist and thats been over 17 years now I dreamed of being in Black Hair Magazine that one particular magazine I bought every month. Looking through pictures wishing one day I see myself in it. When I received a call yesterday telling me my model and myself will be in November issue of this magazine. I just fell to my knees praising God giving God all the glory. These things Ive been praying for my whole life and once you learn to REALLY have faith and trust and believe. Not only will he make a way, when you dedicate your life to Him and live for him He will give you the desires of your heart. Your desires become God desires. God wants to bless His people he wants you to have more than enough. Give your life to him, accept him as your Lord and Savior.I Challenge you!!! I challenge you!!! Oh bless the Lord with my whole heart sometimes you just cant hold your peace when you see God is working in your life. God has been so good to me. I really hope this bless someone.
