Testing. Soon I plan on selling my baby.. Reason being I actually bought one of my dream cars and dont necessarily need it. Note that I said testing.. Not completely ready to sell. Hopefully next weekend Ill be good to go (waiting on the dream cars new computer) 1991 BMW 318is E30 2 door, M42 inline 4 Bilstein rear suspension and lowered springs (not super low) 233k miles- gasp. I know... Im staggered at how many claim bmws are unreliable. Its going decently strong. This one does have the LSD. It has e36 seats, and both driver and passenger harness... I have the stock seat belts still. There is no backseat. It was removed and sold for the harness. 5 speed manual, clutch good. Have been told it is one of cleanest E30s in town but Im not positive myself. The bad. Might need a crank seal... It is leaking oil enough to notice. But not a lot at a time. Rear bushings need replaced. By rear I mean the drivers side. I replaced the passenger side last winter... Idk why I didnt do both and save time. I have the bushings. It will need some brake pads eventually. The cars heater works... But last winter lets remember it was -20... Didnt work very well. AC pulley is bent :( so no AC- but at least you gain more power not running it! Lol. The winter I drove it, I took the winter wheels off ( the ugly stock ones ) and 1 week later it snowed one last time. I made contact with a wall. So it needs a fender. And a bumper cover. As you can see. Passenger fender. Originally I was going to replace both fenders ( rust starting to get bigger ) and bumper but decided... That I wasnt keeping it forever like I wanted. And didnt order the parts. Questions. You know what to do. Offers. Oh. And the 318is m42... Last and most updated E30 made.
