Testing my mayor and political strength. I enjoy playing simcity on my free time. Traffic jam been my burden. 20% (highest you can raise) tax rate for everyone, except the rich, in order to keep budget balance and cover basic infrastructure expenses, like police, schools, hospitals, and fire services. :D Not a easy work being a mayor as everyone is always complaining, but I have achieved 90%+ approval rating, until I increased taxes and living cost for many became hard and homelessness became epidemic. Crime rise, citizens dying off after shutting down clinics and hospital, fire service response was slow due to traffic, buildings became abandon, population dropped immensely from around 268k; tourism dropped, oil and coal delivery to power plants slow causing some not to receive power. I decided not to take actions, although I was generating a vast income. (Cough- sounds familiar?) Of course, only the poor suffered and carried the burden. Ive come to appreciate mayors more for all they have to go through and also what inactions can lead to. Not the best shots of Peace, but give the game a try and lets discuss trades, money assistance, and more! BTW I deleted this city as I was testing government actions and what it can lead to. I purposely corrupted the city after much fun as the best Mayor and citizens saying theyll marry me, and mass influx of my neighbors citizen into my city by trains and municipal bus for university and primary education, shopping, and to explore my tourism specialized city.
