The first stage of the initiative started in 2005, in North West Cambodia, and has achieved to date the implementation of 50 operating sites in Battambang, BanteayMeanchey and Siem Reap provinces. These sites provide more than 50,000 people daily with safe drinking water. “TeukSaat 1001” is committed to act as a service platform for all production sites of safe water and as a project to set-up new safe water production sites Mission The mission of “TeukSaat 1001” is to implement sustainable improvement in the health of people living in isolated communities. The proposed objective of our non-profit association is to empower rural communities by enabling them to produce and guarantee quality of drinking water at an affordable price, based on a social enterprise business model, which ensures that they are self-sufficient and reach the largest number of beneficiaries. Context TeukSaat1001”“Social entrepreneurship academy ”has been developed in order to reinforce the capacity building program for the rural entrepreneurs, along with “1001 fontaines” plan to roll-out the solution in different areas of Cambodia by installing 200 production sites by 2016 supported by 3 or 4 platforms. “TeukSaat1001” is seeking a qualified Cambodian to fill the position of Field Community Facilitator or Trainer of Entrepreneur, linked to the project team of the NGO, in order to follow-up entrepreneur activity in the villages and insures skills development following, “Social entrepreneurship academy” program and training path. By administrating on site coaching’s for entrepreneur and follow up of business activity, Trainer of Entrepreneur of TeukSaat 1001 (presently 6 persons) have a key role in operating sites development and success to become autonomous and reach the breakeven point. They are responsible for helping villagers to become real entrepreneur by using NGO methodology and tools. Job opportunity Duties of candidate TeukSaat is seeking for Cambodian experimented in rural communities’ development with a strong understanding of business and finance issues. Under the responsibility of “TeukSaat1001”Program Manager and in coordination with other members of the project team, he/she will be assigned the following responsibilities: Entrepreneur coaching Trainer of Entrepreneur organizes and administrates the coaching of 10 new entrepreneurs in the villages during the first 12 months of their site activity, at the occasion of the monthly visit or any additional visit on site. Trained by NGOon Social Entrepreneur Academy tools for onsite coaching the Trainer of Entrepreneur is responsible for: • Support entrepreneurs in business management and development with appropriate advices and coaching methods • Integration of Entrepreneur in training • Site monthly operation report • Water quality results of site and good maintenance of water treatment plant • Management of “Bank account” of entrepreneur • Data collection and entry • Water Delivery organization in villages around the station + jug management (3first months of site activity) • Facilitate work between entrepreneur, community, key opinion leader and local authority Reporting Trainer of Entrepreneur results to the Program Manager and works closely with the project team in order to find solution to difficulties of new entrepreneurs, and help to develop its activity.
