Texas Tech has 2/3 of my soul now. I feel so empty already. Whos am I going to yell at for coming in late and making up a bad lie? Whos gonna come wake me up to clip their tie nails? Or come in my room, pass gas and then say it was a monster in my closet? Who am I gonna have my long talks with about all the things that upset me? I never thought this day would come but its here. Today I drove away from Texas Tech and left 2 of my best friends! Shawn Johnson, Im so proud of you. You have really matured and grown up to be an outstanding young man. I enjoyed watching you achieve goal after goal and I look forward to what the future holds for you. Jalen, I am amazed by how much you have changed. I look at you and often say Wow! My son is a grown man!. Im so proud of you for hanging in there for the part two years at PV and for transfer to the school that you have wanted to go to since you were little. I applaud you both! You guys are amazing young men and I love yall more than life. #ProudTechMo
