Take note ... thanks to the latest voter suppression actions by the Republican state govt, your Texas Drivers License and your Voter Registration Certificate (Voter I.D.) now MUST match EXACTLY or you will not be able to vote! And since it takes up to 30 days to receive your new Voter I.D., you need to do it NOW. Go to https://txapps.texas.gov/tolapp/sos/SOSACManager and make any necessary changes. (The changes are easy and fast to make, but weirdly, they dont tell you where to find the DPS Audit Number on your drivers license. It is the long stream of numbers at the very bottom of your license. ... there is no indication of the words Audit Number. Mine had was labeled DD and had 20 digits, but not sure if thats the norm for everybody.)
