Texhoma - LaDonna Wedel was born to Thomas and Bernice Koehn on Sept. 27, 1957, at Garden City. Kansas. She died Feb. 12, 2014, at Memorial Hospital of Texas County, Guymon, Oklahoma, reaching the age of 56 years. She grew up on a farm in Southwest Kansas. LaDonna was joined in marriage to Tony Wedel on July 18, 1982, and they shared 31 years together. LaDonna enjoyed serving others, being a nurse at different facilities. Since 2000, she had worked at the Dunaway Manor/Heritage Center. She also enjoyed working on her yard, using gardening as her therapy. Survivorss include: husband, Tony; three sons and one daughter: Tristan and wife April, Texhoma, Oklahoma; Trevor and wife Lisa, Fredricksburg, Ohio; Tiffany and husband Vern Mast, Atwater, California; Tynan and wife Tara, Texhoma, Oklahoma; six grandchildren, Jayden Lee Mast, Whitney Marie, Brandi Jo, Jami Kate, and Cade Triston Wedel, and Melinie Mast; her parents, Tom and wife Mom Ruth; three brothers and their wives, Evrett and Gail, Ulysses; Darvin and Lisa, Satana, Kansas; Calvin and Deb, Thomas, Oklahoma; five sisters-in-law Juanita and husband Orville Koehn, Canton, Kansas; Glenda and husband Ray, Turlock, California; Sheryl and husband Clark Boehs, Isabell, Oklahoma; Peggy and husband Gary Schmidt, Sedan, New Mexico; Patsy and husband Mervin Koehn, Leoti, Kansas. Her mother, Bernice, infant brother, Ronnie and nephew, Levi preceded her in death. Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday morning, Feb. 15, 10:30 A.M., at the Texhoma First Christian Church with Ministers, Darwin Koehn and Andy Wedel, officiating. Interment will follow at the Texhoma Mennonite Cemetery, near Prairie Mirage Christian School, rural Texhoma. Services are under the care of Henson-Novak Funeral Directors of Guymon. Visitation will be Friday, 2:00-8:00 P.M. at Henson-Novak Funeral Directors, 501 NW Fifth, Guymon.
