Text: Matthew 6:2-4 How does it feel when you give a gift expecting no reward? It’s an inner glow, right? A warm feeling deep inside. I’m hoping everyone reading this post today has had the joy of having helped someone just because you could and it seemed right, or having given a true gift – not expecting anything back. Maybe you knew it wasn’t even possible for the other person to give anything back. You gave because you knew it would be appreciated and enjoyed or it made the other person’s life a little better for a bit. You helped without expecting to be thanked. That’s where true joy and peace are found! That is grace. God doesn’t need anything from us. God is complete in Gods self. Yet, God is the ultimate giver. The first and primary giver in life.
