Text from Doug Kelley: My mom and I had a good visit with Greg. He looks really well, hes growing a goatee (finally!) He feels emotionally and physically strong. He said he had his instant coffee this morning and spent his day watching football. He mentioned to his pod mates about how he used to run and play football against some of the players in the OU and Texas game and he said it was neat watching them play and happy to share that experience with his inmates. He also gathered with others for bible studies today. Overall he is physically and mentally healthy. While we were talking he pulled out a fire ball candy from his front pocket and waved it to us. My mom asked what was that and he said a cinnamon candy. Greg watches the show Price Is Right in the mornings and every time he sees a vacation, he sets his mind in places like that, driving that nice Jeep. Greg mentioned one of his inmates grew up in Colorado and was sharing his experience last winter in Steamboat and brought back memories that made both of their days. I ask him whats the first thing you want to do when you get out? He said go to Golden Corral with everyone where theres a lot of food! As our visit came to an end we put our hands to the glass window, mom and him always blow a kiss and as he walks out he turns to us with a big smile. Grateful to share this with you.
