Text of proposed CONSTITUTIONAL HERITAGE AMENDMENT ARTICLE ____ Section 1. America’s Constitutional history is unique among nations and sacred to the American people. It is the right of citizens to receive an accurate historical account of America’s Constitutional heritage and history, which is foundational to a free people. Section 2. To secure the rights of citizens it is hereby prohibited for any organization, institution, individual or any other entity to intentionally teach, broadcast or to disseminate in any way misleading, false or otherwise distorted accounts of America’s Constitutional heritage and history. It is further prohibited for any of these entities to intentionally omit relative information that would inaccurately portray America’s heritage and history. Section 3. It is mandated in this Article that all elementary, secondary and college level schools accurately and factually teach America’s students America’s Christian Judeo history with special focus on the creation and purposes America’s historical documents, which shall include State Constitutions, Mayflower Compact, Articles of Confederation, Declaration of Independence, Emancipation Proclamation and United States Constitution. It shall be required that at least two semesters of instruction be given to students at each educational school level. Section 3. Any elected government official who intentional obstructs the enforcement of the provisions of this Article will have committed an impeachable offense and will be subject to criminal prosecution and upon conviction serve up to five years in prison. Any non elected government official, or an individual who has been appointed to a government position, who intentional obstructs the enforcement of the provisions of this Article will have committed a criminal offense and upon conviction serve up to five years in prison. Non government individuals and/or any private entities that intentionally obstruct the enforcement of this Article will have committed a criminal offense and upon conviction serve up to five years in prison. The United States Department of Justice shall be charged with the responsibility for prosecuting violators of the provisions of this Article. Individual States shall have authority to prosecute violators under State laws in the absence of Department of Justice prosecution. Section 5. The provisions of this Article are enforceable within the United States which shall include the Several States, the District of Columbia, and the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands and the territories and possessions of the United States. Section 6. This Article shall be immediately part of the United States Constitution upon ratification by three quarters of the State Legislatures in the several States and shall supersede and take precedence over all prior regulations, statutory law and case law relating to education policy in the United States.
