Tfl have just put out some changes to the Deptford Bridge junction for consultation. I have just given them a cursory glance during my lunch hour. First impressions, not great...not great at all. Just glancing at them, seems to be no attempt to take some of the huge amounts of space here away from motor traffic and on a first look couldnt see a pedestrian crossing where its really needed. Also, some cycle lanes (advisory, natch) in some really stupid places, leading bikes into perfect left hook positions. I will check more carefully when I have finished work and hope Ive missed something wonderful.
