Thais only care about losing face inside the country..!! They dont care if people get ripped off and return home and tell everyone what happened., which is losing a great deal of face until only the tip of the chin is left..!! It have nothing to do with visa rules, immigration or coup..!! The Land of the Smile...Arghhhhhhhhh...Lick your wounds..!! The appeal for tourists to visit Thailand was cheap prices and good service, nothing is cheap anymore along with too many scams and bad service, I went to Vietnam last year and will do the same again this year, bye bye Thailand youve had your day. However I would return of things improved again. A great shame as it will continue to decline and it will be too late to make a recovery. Cutting off your nose to spite your face always comes to mind when I think about TAT. Stop ripping of tourists and make more money long term, better economy for all Thais, but the logic seems to be Less tourists so lets put the prices up..!!
