Thaiwo Akerele A PAST OF PRIDE, A PRESENT OF GLORY AND A FUTURE SO - TopicsExpress

Thaiwo Akerele A PAST OF PRIDE, A PRESENT OF GLORY AND A FUTURE SO BRIGHT WE NEED SUNGLASSES I celebrate you while you live. I will never allow people sleep on total quality. A light must be help up for all to see. It has to mean something when you are born on Mothers day right? What better gift to a mom than a successful childbirth on Mothers day? I First saw Taiwo Akerele while he was running for PRO of the students union Govt University of Benin. I believe I noticed him fully at SPECTRUM where we were under the tutelage of Wilson Ovienria who anyone interested in student union politics go to seek blessing. In Taiwo I saw a boy who would go far and the ENAstradamus in me immediately reached out to him and I remember actually even giving him a little something to add to his finance chest as I was certain he would make a fantastic PRO. I WAS RIGHT as more often is usual. Thaiwo has gone on to make a success of his life....more than a success really. I wanted to just celebrate Thaiwo not knowing his birthday was around the corner. When I asked him for what he has been up to and that I wanted to put him under our spotlight on this page, he said to me HOPE NO BE TO BRIBE ME? Indeed I can understand his fear. Taiwo is very critical of the present day government of Goodluck Ebele Jonathan and I am as Jonathan as if I am his born son. Such is my support for GEJ that Taiwo ordinarily would be suspicious why I would want to elevate him in the eyes of my friends here. Perhaps he forgets that on this page we are first friends and social networkers. Perhaps he does not know me enough to know unlike Tinubu and his ACN I am a total democrat who believes everyone must have his say....right or wrong. Perhaps he does not realise that I know i do not know much and learn as much as any other from the fantastic and not so fantastic comments that adorn the page. Perhaps he does not know that inasmuch as I concur with the views of the erudite Michael Dedon and Edwin Dico Okugbo and Gregory Hyscient Onokwai and Henry Omoregies I also factor the opposing views of the Joseph Obemeata and the Peter Alake and the Razaq Obe and the Onos Ohwevwo and also those of the Kingsley Iriogbe who challenge ur position should they find holes...or perceived holes in the narrative. Indeed this page gets the following it does not just because of me but the divergent views of the contributors. IT IS NO MONOLOGUE nor again is it ACN cum APC where there is a Jagaban that can just say tell him there is no vacancy. Tell him Jagaban says so. No no no. We encourage the discuss and Thaiwo has brought his reasoned voice to the page and we are grateful. Now like Olabode Sowunmi who is also a respected contributor and my ally, Thaiwo IS A PRODUCT OF PATITO GANG, the TV program by renowned economist Pat Utomi that gave us Reuben Abati. I used to watch them on TV reel out the direction the country should take and intelligently so. It is thus an honour to have him here as he goes in counter-position to my narrative that GEJ is doing the best he can and we must shore up support for him especially as the opposition stinks to high heaven. Thaiwo while not agreeing to be opposition and who himself is Edo State born and thus Niger Delta believes GEJ can do a lot more. The funny thing about Patitos Gang is that they all seem to be totally unagreed. Pat Utomi himself is totally against everything Sanusi has done and Olabode and Reuben Abati join in totally distancing themselves from the corrupt, nepotistic, religious fanatic and neophyte economist Sanusi has proven to be in crashing the bans thus costing the Federal Govt Billions and billions in unnecessary rescue....an exercise Soludo believes and rightly would have been solved by further consolidation which would have kept youths at work, banks employing and Federal Govt keeping their money in the nations coffers. Where Thaiwo stands is in counter-position as well with his old bosses as he seems (I may bbe wrong) to believe the nebulous unsure accounting of Sanusi. But that is not the purpose of this post as I have totally digressed. THIS POST IS TO SAY HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO AN ACHIEVER named Taiwo Akerele. The mail he sent me of himself had these very funny words Ena how far? Please help give them o. They no dey know the broom wey kill fly......lol (find attached) And so indeed them no dey know the very strand of broom wey kill the fly. So here is what you need to know of Taiwo Akerele (I knowingly dey repeat the name like advert so you will remember it next time as this young man rises and rises) Taiwo my blooder, I share with you Psalm 121 v 5-8 and it is a promise made by God to you The LORD himself watches over you!
