Thank G-d I actually get to *finally* hear from a WOC on this. After hearing a bunch of white mansplain on t.v. I was starting to think I might vomit. Look everyone: violence against womyn is the fabric, the filter, the focus, the foundation of this culture. And its MENS work to do away with it, because MEN cause it and carry it out. I can barely get men in this community to get together and talk about their privilege or their pain or their potential for violence. I cant imagine the kind of effort it would take to actually get them to start confronting the realities of patriarchy on a physical level. Im gonna keep dreaming. In the meantime: Dear womyn of the world, im sorry, i love you, lets protect each other to the extent that we can, okay?
