Thank GAWD my husband loves social media because Ive been slacking keeping you guys updated. Weve had an amazing time in England and have made some new friends. I adored getting to meet real organic dairy farmers and see how the soil was just as important as the animals--something I had never thought about. But these families are just like us but they live on beautiful land with lush green rolling hills...and feed hundreds of mouths per day. We also met a cheesemaker with over 30 years experience using cheddar recipes that are hundreds of years old...and the care and complexity of that. These people take pride in delivering the very healthiest and best. London has changed so much in the 12 years since I was living here for school. The EU and social media has changed things for better and for worse. But dont bother purchasing an international plan for your phone because the hotspots are shite. What I love: the care people have about sustainability, food and traditions...big fluffy towels, good public transportation, adorable accents, tomatoes for breakfast, politeness, pints, proper tea, cosmopolitan people of all cultures, religions and persuasions. What I dont like: tiny wastebaskets that fly across the room when you step on them, tiny elevators that make me a bit nervous, I cant find my old stomping ground because the burb has changed so much...and thats about it. So its really not so bad. We are staying here till Monday and then hopping on another plane. But I promise to get more pictures of cosmetics, food, etc for you. Im enjoying my detective work. Love you all!!!
