Thank God For Changes! Psalm 30:11-12 (NAS) Thou hast turned for me my mourning into dancing; Thou hast loosed my sackcloth and girded me with gladness; That [my] soul may sing praise to Thee, and not be silent. O LORD my God, I will give thanks to Thee forever GIVE THANKS FOR WHAT GOD CHANGED God never changes. James 1:17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights with whom there is no variation or shadow due to change. Hebrews 13:8 Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever. The same God that created the heavens and the earth. The same God that blessed Abraham. The same God that walked with Enoch. The same God that called Moses. The same God that delivered Israel. The same God that directed Joshua. The same God that favored Esther. The same God that healed Naaman. The same God that picked up Elijah. The same God that filled the temple. The same God that resurrected Lazarus, saved Peter, came down as Christ, defeated hell and death and changed the world... He is still walking He is still calling He is still delivering He is still directing He is still favoring He is still healing He is still picking up He is still filling He is still resurrecting He is still saving Defeating hell, crushing Satan and changing the world. Why? Because what he did yesterday he does today and what he does today he can do tomorrow. He was good yesterday and hes good today. Yet the God that is the same doesnt want you to stay the same. He provokes, requires and demands CHANGE. He changed Pharaohs heart. He changed Abram to Abraham. He changed water into wine. He change sinners into saints. Have you changed in 2014? The bible says give thanks for what God changed. How many can thank God that you are not what you used to be. You are not who you were one year ago. Give God thanks for what he changed!
