Thank God for Facebook. And, thank God for those For-Sale sites. It was through the sharing of my information that the Warrick County Sheriffs Department has, at this moment, the names of the couple, address, and what car they drive. An arrest cannot happen until Officer Bullock returns to work in the morning, as he has not submitted his report yet, so therefore, the officers on duty do not have access to the video from McDonalds to make a positive ID. Ron just got home, and I was able to use his phone to call dispatch myself, and was told all of this. Though I am very disappointed that information had not yet been shared between Bullock and dispatch; as that would have led to an arrest tonight. Maybe in the future, the sheriffs office personnel will have access to information on investigations 24/7 so that when an officer goes off duty, an arrest is not delayed. I am a victim of a crime, two witnesses now have come forward, and I believe an officer could go and ID the people from the video if Officer Bullock had given access to that information before he went off duty. My crime is not a life or death crime. But it is a crime nonetheless, and an arrest can, and should have been made tonight. Brett Kruse
