Thank God for this weeks message that mentions that all great leaders have a constant companion of pain. Its so easy for me to expect and want to always enjoy peace, joy and happiness, especially when serving a loving God. The fact that there always seems to be something that causes some sort of pain makes me waiver in my faith, but realizing that all great leaders have a constant companion of pain helps me put things in a different perspective, and helps me to think that maybe this pain is a direct result of the great leadership I have vs. thinking that the pain is a direct result of a failure in leadership. Whether leading a Business, T-Ball Team or Family, I will from now on look at the pain experienced as a motivator to keep on keeping on, and not to get down about the things that cause pain.
