Thank YOU Springfield School District faculty and staff, students, parents and also to the larger Springfield Twp./Holland Community. Springfield JROTC won $500 in the Buckeye Cable Systems Network/Fifth Third Give-Back Program. All last week the lead changed hourly between Northview and Springfield. Even after asking the Athletic and Band Boosters to join our campaign the votes were still close. Then we called in reinforcements and asked the Univ. of Toledo Army ROTC cadets, some Marines in California, the Army in Germany, family and friends from McComb, the Toledo Hospital, and finally linked ourselves on the Armys Cadet Command website. Final vote percentage was Springfield 45%, Northview 37 %, Bowsher at 13% and two smaller charter schools with much less. Thank you for your support.
