Thank You Father God for accepting me as Your child, help me to - TopicsExpress

Thank You Father God for accepting me as Your child, help me to see others through Your eyes, and treat them with the love that You would treat them with, for Your glory, Amen! ROMANS 15:7 ~Accept one another, then, just as Christ accepted you, in order to bring praise to God.~ There should never be any “cliques” among God’s people. We should not receive people in the local church or body of believers based on denominational affiliation, spiritual maturity, or social status. All those who have placed their faith in the blood of Christ are our brothers and sisters in Christ, and should be treated as the children of God that they are. This world bases a persons worth on how much wealth or popularity that they have. But in God’s economy, our worth is based solely on the work and blood of Christ on the cross for our sins. When God looks at us He sees us through the blood of Christ which covers all our sin and makes us all equally valuable to Him and worthy to be called His dearly loved children! So then, who are we to “put on airs” with those we consider unworthy of our acceptance? Christ did not come to this world to condemn (John 3:17), but to save it through Himself. Our goal as Christians should be to promote the gospel of Jesus Christ to the yet unsaved (Mark 16:15), and to treat our brothers and sisters in Christ with the love we possess through the Holy Spirit that indwells us. When we do these things we indeed bring praise to God, for we are obeying His Word! When a new person comes to your church, you be the first one to walk up to them and welcome them with the love of the Lord. Talk with them and make them feel at home no matter the state of their clothes, the color of their skin, or what social standing they may or may not have. God will bless you for it, and in the process you just may be gaining a valuable friendship based in Christ!
