Thank You, Lord, for the dawn of this glorious new day of Your creation. Your mercies are new, my spirit renewed. Father, we as a nation are struggling. We are threatened, it seems, on every front. We suffer deeply from division. The basic principles upon which our country was founded are diminished. We no longer stand united. The very foundation of our freedoms are being chiseled away. The only constant appears to be an attempt to remove You from all things. Please Lord, let us humble ourselves, individually and as a nation, before You. We cannot expect Your blessings if we continually turn away. I beg that You would place conviction upon our leaders. Let them make decisions that lend credence to the good of the people that they govern, not the politics that they serve. Unite us once more. Heal our great land. Guide us back to Your will and purpose. Remove the self serving attitude that has become prevalent. Replace it with compassion. Let us all remember to love one another as You have loved us. You are our only true hope. Restore us, Dear Lord, through Your unconditional love, incomprehensible grace and undeserved mercy. These things I ask in the mighty name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Thank You Father !!!
