“Thank You”….Those two words are simple, yet powerful. On December 12th, 2014, members of the Fraternal Order of Police Lodge #5 and the CPD Family paid a visit to Heartland Rehabilitation & Nursing Center located at 1137 Sam Rittenberg Blvd. in the West Ashley section of Charleston. We were able to give each patient a blanket or throw, socks, toiletry items, crossword puzzles, candy and numerous games for their Activity Room. It was extremely delightful to see the smile on their faces. They were so appreciative and grateful that we cared enough to share the joy of Christmas with them.
