Thank You for Life-Saving Tools. I have frequently mentioned how I have been opened up to a whole new world. A world of wonderful, caring people whose goal it is to care for the ill. Some of these people had life-threatening illnesses themselves – and still do! Ed, the nurse who has cancer...so, while being treated, he made up his mind that he would treat others and care for them as soon as he was able to do so. Gina, whose husband has cancer, so she decided to leave her profession as an airline hostess, and become a nurse. Jeff, who decided when in an 18 month body cast following a terrible accident, that he was going to work in radiology. Amazing people – amazing stories – amazing desires to “pass on the good.” If I can pass one thing on to people during this “episode” – It would be to let people know that there is nothing to fear. Fear, worry, doubt – these only trigger more fear, worry and doubt. And in so doing, they take the focus off of the healing, health and well-being! If we give in to the three negative emotions, we give them more power to harm. Laughter. Good will toward others. A desire to help. Smiling! Cheerfully greeting others. These are, indeed, life-saving tools! Thank You for Life-Saving Tools. God bless this day and all who walk into it. Edie 09/19/2014 FOR TODAY I have an experiment for each of you to try.
