Thank god! It is been 10 years now! Yes, today is our 10th wedding anniversary. Wow! I cannot believe that the journey passed such a long way. When Journey began 10 years ago I hold Nessys hand to start our journey, now she holds my hands every day to keep me moving! Last year we thought we would celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary this year. But we have no room in our health carryout another celebration. So.as usual no celebration, no friends- just a small cake –the remembrance is done.We will be celebrating our 11th one may be much better. Tomorrow is 27th, may 27th was my transplant. Yet another remembrance! After staying 28 days in the hospital I came back home on 16th night. 8 days of pre transplant treatment of which 4 days of Total Body Radiation (8 Radiation), 2 Days of heavy Chemotherapy, finally on the 8 the day Stem cell transplant-it was all happened without much complication except one infection which caused me high fever. But all the complications were brought under control as all the transplant team was around me at that time. All is well. I had a couple of visits in the cancer center. The doctors are impressed with the present health condition, but I still have to continue keeping myself safe from infections and other complications. I was so tired in all these days after the discharge from the hospital. My body was too weak. I was not even able to speak loudly. I had a very bad cough and that was too much for me to speak. I also was away from FB for a long time. So my friends please forgive me if I have not attended your calls. It was not intentional. I am getting better now. When I am in good shape I will call you all personally. Now 6 more months of bed rest and medications! During these periods at least 3 months I have to be very careful about getting infections. So please stay away! I ask my friends to keep away from me for few more days. It is to make me prepare myself to come back with more energy and enthusiasm to you. So please bear with me. After a couple more weeks I will be able to talk to you over phone smoothly. By the time all the sores in my tongue will be completely healed. Finally I must thank all my friends for the love and concern they had showered up on me. While admitted in the Hospital I requested to all friends not to come to hospital and visit me as I was in the isolated room. Every one of my friends followed my request and nobody came to visit me. At this point I request all of you to pray for me get away from any infections, any complications that may occur due to rejection of cells, and other complications. I also thank you all for praying for me to get a fast recovery and all other complications. May god bless you and your family abundantly! Thank you
