Thank yall for the prayers! Docs have decided that the staph is clearing, as it should with the antibiotic, so no new port is needed. However, standard protocol is ten days from the last negative culture, so we will be in until next Saturday the 26. I hate we arent getting to go on vacation (Lighthouse Retreat is a retreat for cancer fams.) My heart is sad because the boys were really excited about going to the beach (mom and dad were too!) We do know this truth...my verse for Shep since the beginning: He knows the plans He has for us...plans to prosper not harm! For whatever reason, whether to encourage some other families up here, to be a light to somebody, to learn some things for ourselves, we know who is in ultimate control! Continue prayers for Shep to have great numbers. This time around hes able to get out of his room and play. The only time hes hooked up is when the antibiotic is being administered. Also pray for our health. Pray that all of the boys will know they are loved and cared for by mom and dad...not always being together tends to pull on them. Pray for us to see opportunities Gods placed in front of us while we are here. Thats all for today...Happy Saturday!
