Thank you! After 6 years on the job, in May of last year I received news that my employment status was being reduced from full to part-time (20 hours). Due to the drastic cut, I qualified for unemployment. Due to the regular benefits being exhausted and the unemployment extension not being approved, I am behind on everything and on the verge of losing it all. Living on a part-time salary with a child and full time bills, the struggle is one I wouldnt wish on anyone. I pray for all of us that it is approved. I am appalled that even going through temp agencies, internet, workforce.net, assistance for displaced workers and I could go on and on, how hard it is to find a new job and/or get no response, as well as being told youre under/over qualified. I pray that employers accept the unemployed, displaced and willing prospective employees. Its a hurting feeling to know youre in need and not qualify for help or are able to move upward and youre giving it your all. God help us all!
