Thank you Augusta! The last 48 hours has been a whirlwind of fun and long hours. I had the opportunity to attend the Atlanta Get on Up Premiere and after party last night. Tate and Chadwick both remember me from Augusta and thanked me for everything. One representative for Universal told me they were touched by keys to the city and Chadwick was wearing the same type suit as in the museum so he wanted pictures. The event on Thursday was truly once in a lifetime and one that will be talked about for years. The entire CSRA came together for the celebration of James Brown. There are so many people to thank but I have to mention a few: Deanna Brown Thomas - leading the charge and giving the James Brown passion direction Deborah Brown - making it happen with tickets, event planning and more. She is awesome!! Mayor Deke Copenhaver - for supporting event from the city and the special presentation Sheriff Roundtree - his team was absolutely amazing! Never seen a VIP team like that at any event City of Augusta - theater and museum area were looking great Jorge Lopez of News12 - he took the facebook page to new heights and was a part from the beginning, only media person to see all 3 first premieres Nancy Glaser- museum was GREAT and JB exhibit left an impact Ron Rippo & Staff at Regal cinemas, they worked their butts off cleaning and prepping for the event Rob Boggs - Sound was great for JAMP and the barricades made our event look awesome. Special thank you to Butch Holley for the red carpet and Danny Ray video that has a few thousand hits in just over a day. Finally, because of all the sponsors, media, and ticket buyers who came out to support the event we made history together. You made a difference for many JAMP kids by supporting the event. Thank you! Feel so blessed to be a part of the TEAM! -Sean Frantom, Facebook Page - Bring the Get on Up Premiere to Augusta
