Thank you Bill Van Ness. Lots of Memories at KVRO. I discovered a lot while working there. Grew up a bunch, played the game hard and finally made it to Charlotte NC. Then realized that family was more important than anything. Moved to Joplin, MO and have been here since 86. Probably worked at most of the stations here at one time or another. TV too. Now working for the largest Casino in Northeast Oklahoma, Downstream Casino resort. I work for the tribe which owns it. The Quapaw Tribe of Oklahoma. I am a Compliance agent. Have to make sure the money doesnt sprout legs and walk away, you know. Every now and then we get to put the bad guys away with help of Security and the Quapaw Marshalls. I have a picture of the KVRO basketball team somewhere in my archives. Ill try to find it and post it. Until then have a wonderful New Year. GO POKES!!
