Thank you Bosnia. Oh how I wish on this Eid Day, those who are celebrating took an hour, only an hour, out of their festivities, to march for Gaza, Syria, Iraq, Libya, just to name a few and teach their children what Eid is supposed to mean beyond news clothes, money, amusements parks ...and to tell them that there are children, regardless of faith, who are not safe, who were made orphans, kicked out of their homes in Gaza and Mosul and elsewhere. Teach them that if they dont care about these children, they too will never be safe, and next Eid, they too might be the kids whose heartbreaking suffering we are witnessing live on TV. Teach them this is real. Not a Tv show, not a video game and it is not far from home. Evil is never far no matter where we are. Teach the children to have a soul and to have a heart that beats for others. Not just out of excitement of having their Eid gift. But it is just what it is. A wish........
