Thank you Deepashree Pitre for presenting the #GratitudeChallenge to me, which i shall take up for the next 7 days :-) #GratitudeChallenge Day 1: #1 My Dada: Francisco Rodrigues - For being the one person who inspires me the most and for whom i am Most Grateful. A perfect balance of high Intellect combined with a deep sense of morality, humility, warmth, calmness, understanding and simplicity. Above all, the most hard-working and creative person Ive known. The art of giving and serving selflessly i have most surely learnt from my dad who btw is a Mathematics teacher by profession. Although the Sir title has earned him quite a many accolades, he is gifted and good at practically everything he gets his hands on. Right from creating the construction plan for my home in Goa, to the architecture bits, wiring the whole home for electricity, Gardening, Stitching, Painting, Machine/s reconfiguring/ building/ repairing, and yes, making his own guitar during his college days cos he dint have one to play and for his love of Music (which i seem to have inherited :P ) In the 21 years that Ive been staying home, during school and college free time besides learning quite a few instruments and performing and engineering bits (that you my friends may know about me), Ive been happily Painting: Interiors/Exteriors, Welding, Gardening, and contributing 2-3% while He built Build random machines at home :P And yes some Carpentry bits as well. There was always a lot to observe and learn from, and often his sheer sense of judgement in making the right decisions has taught me a lot. It is an everyday privilege to be his daughter and all of my time being around him has truly shaped my character and my perspective to see and understand the world and people around me. Most Grateful to The One who mapped me into being his little one :)
