Hi Ladies & Gentlemen It has been 8 years since I co-founded RailsFactory with Dinesh. Even in my wildest imagination I did not expect to come this far. Last 2 years were different. We had our challenges A) infrastructure especially power problem in chennai (last year) B) moved to a smaller office C) reduced head count for improving operational efficiency & reducing bench strength. But we have our achievements A) Started enterprise solutions division. B) Hired highly experienced people with domain knowledge from well established companies for enterprise & consulting division. C) International travel by employees(15 people, 20 trips, 15 nations ) D) Dinesh & Kishore have moved to US. E) Incorporated and Started operations in US & Switzerland. F) Formed a management committee and all its members own stake in the company. G) Bangalore office & team is being built. I made multiple trips to US in last 2 years, often months away from chennai . I have delegated most of my roles to able people . I am glad to say they have done a better job in managing those roles than I ever did. I never had to intervene. You were in safe hands. Since I returned from US I have been thinking about many things. I will become 40 in next 3 years. I realized I am not a corporate guy, I never was. I love to try new things, build new things. I have decided I want to start again, relive the startup life as a entrepreneur . I will be starting my next startup venture soon. I have shortlisted a few ideas where I want to spend my time on. I am handing over the role of CEO of RailsFactory/Sedin Technologies back to Dinesh. I will not be managing the day to day operations. But I will be visiting you all often. I will keep being a investor, director & advisor to the management , also will offer my consulting services when required.
