Thank you God And Jesus , Proverbs 16:19 , Better it is to be of an humble spirit with the lowly, than to divide the spoil with the proud. James 4:6 , But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble. 1 Peter 5:5 , Likewise, ye younger, submit yourselves unto the elder. Yea, all of you be subject one to another, and be clothed with humility: for God resisteth the proud, and giveth grace to the humble. Proverbs 6 , Verses - 16 , These six things doth the Lord hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him: 17 , A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood, 18 , An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief, 19 , A false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren. ( What is Pride ? Its a high opinion of ones own self importance usually to the point you think your the only one who matters or you so much better than everybody else . It will give you great arrogance the behaviour that shows that you think you are more important than other people . Your attitude and actions say look at me how great I am or what I can do it becomes all about yourself . The way you look is high class and gaudy with a fake vanity appearance . It shows in your talk the way you conduct yourself how you dress or appear to others . It gives you a feeling of your superior to everyone by your behavior toward others . A stuck up person who thinks everyone around them is beneath them . The feeling of I am too good to speak to you always looking down on someone else . Many people with pride think they know it all and much more intelligent than other people . You cant tell them anything cause they already know everything and more than you do . They feel in their heart if I talk with you it will damage my ego and they are so high and lifted up they cant come down to your level . You tend to be a snob to others and with with your looks you say your not as good as me . It causes you to very proud of your abilities, and way too interested in your appearance with the feeling I must out dress everyone else or be better looking than everybody I see . Pride is an extreme interest in your own life and problems that prevents you from caring about other people . It causes you to be exalted and stuck on and in love with yourself . You think most things are below you with the feeling I cant go there because its too below me . I cant wear that because it looks too cheap . I cant shop there what if someone sees me . I cant buy that because its not a certain style or brand . You wont see me there cause thats where the poor people go . the feeling of I must keep ahead of everybody else what they are all doing I must do it bigger and better . The feeling of you must out do everybody else . ( And its all vanity )
