Thank you Governor Brown for signing AB 1897 into law. This law will ensure that temporary workers in California will have the protections that they deserve, and that employers will be held accountable for providing fair wages and upholding workplace safety standards. No longer can companies hide behind subcontractors and temp agencies to get around workplace and wage laws. California has just closed a large loophole. Temp workers, who have been pushing for this fix, now have the safety of knowing our labor laws will protect them the abuses of unscrupulous employers. #tempworkers #AB1897 #laborprotections #unions
