Thank you John H Mayberry for sharing this. Wilma Rudolph was the 1st American women to win 3 Olympic gold medals at a single Olympic game in 1960. She contracted infantile paralysis which was caused by the polio virus when she was 4 years old. She wore a leg brace, but she recovered. By the time she turned 12, she survived polio and scarlet fever. The doctors said she would never walk. Her Mother said she would walk, and the Olympian champion said she believed her Mother, not the doctors. Be blessed with believing that, I got it. Because this beautiful child does believe.
