Thank you Karysa Trombley for this great analogy for our favorite oil company Young Living. I want to share a little analogy with you... Picture your favorite hole-in-the-wall, local restaurant. You have been going there for years! You have your favorites on the menu. The customer service is always timely and amazing! The quality is impeccable. These people really care!!! Theyve been in business 20 years and have a steady customer base. One day, Guy Fieri shows up. Wow! Your fav place is on Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives! You are thrilled for the restaurant. Several months go by and they are getting SUPER popular! People are coming from all over to try it out, people you never would have thought of! Thats when the service starts slowing down. Instead of 10 min, you wait 30 min for a table. Your favorite menu item is now everyones favorite. Sometimes, youll go weeks and itll be out everytime you go! The restaurant struggles to get that one secret ingredient (it was only available from one grocery store, so now they are looking for it elsewhere) and its been months! But, they refuse to make the dish without it because they wont compromise the quality. They hire more staff, they add new menu items and they expand the building to add more space for tables! They even offer you special promos, deals and incentives for sticking by them. How cool is that? Are you mad at the restaurant owner for the changes? No way! Youre thrilled that so many people see how awesome it is. Youre proud that you eat there. You continue to recommend it because it is THAT good. Every good company will go through growing pains...thats how you know theyre worth sticking around for!
