Thank you Lord for my blessings, A wonderful day in the fire service at Honoring Tradition Leading Change conference in Cheyenne WY. Thank you Cheyenne for your kindness! It takes courage to step up to change and honor the values of the service. On the shoulders of many not so notable others comes the platform for the knowledge of systemic capable change. So many humble and quiet leaders and servants, both domestic and international, are working without recognition or the financial motivations bringing a message of caring and professionalism from their positions each day to the passionate few. I am humbled by these professionals. I constantly strive to serve these few and not the glamor of the trade. I am allowed in their midst and welcomed to hangout with the puriest of heart of these fire service people (like today) by which I am so richly blessed. I know very little of how to honor those before me, with me and those to come after me. I trust and pray that when my ego drives me to selfish self serving motives that my Lord will provide me with the council and friend ship of others to keep my outputs worthwhile.
