Thank you Lori Clark-Boone for reminding me how fortunate I am for everything I have. The world still has large issues, the result of wars and mother nature. I often wonder if we could have solved the African Aids dilemma instead of going into Iraq, how the world might think of America and how we might think of ourselves? Not that our governments job is to take money from one person and give it to another, but the idea still intrigues me. Solving this type of situation is up to us. We can make a difference if we care and we try. True Love is when you care more about another person than you do yourself. First, you must know the other person. For too many, these people are untouchables. Poverty and a lack of understanding does come back to punish the rest of us, too. Perhaps the Peace Corp or some other adventure is on the tips of our minds and bodies when touched by the universal human spirit in decay depicted here.
