Thank you, Maestro Hal Galper and Jazz Video Guy for this! To all Piano Riffers, especially my students and more so those who are guilty of flapping their arms and/or excessively and unnecessarily flicking their wrists, Guru Galper reiterates what I have always reminded all of us... At 1:50: the only thing I would point out here is if you have a classically-trained piano teacher who also plays and teaches jazz *wink-wink*, make sure s/he also stresses as much on playing technique as the jazz approach to piano-playing...
