The program Angel in Progress is an incubator for upcoming playwriters and young actors, allowing them to meet and work with the stars of theater, film and TV. The program offers open readings every month in which plays are performed by celebrities. In June 2008, Matt participated in the reading of the play by Geoffrey Nauffts The Gospel According To Adam: Adam is a gay candle salesman who falls madly in love with boy toy Luke played by Matt.
